Google Maps now Advertising on Facebook

Its not very often that you see an ad for Google products on other websites (except when they use the Google Content Network). Today we spotted some ads on Facebook for Google maps.  The ad is about the the next football game of England v Algeria and how you can use Google maps to find pubs where the game will be shown.

I was surprised with this as Google rarely advertises on other channels. Last time they did something similar was for the release of Chrome. Google then advertised on several train stations and newspapers.  :)

  3. I have to say that it is a good way to promote the product or services into maps…but the main question is that when there are more than 10 pizza providers in same location then how can people know that which one is better. Thank You;).
