Charity PPC Services: Google Grant Accounts

Charity PPC Services: Google Grant Accounts

February 6, 2015

We thought this week we would share our services for those Charities out there who are looking to promote their website.Google gives grants to charities either $10k, $40k or $100k per month to spend on advertising their websites through Google (which we think is a great idea from Google) but quite often the people who work at these charities are not aware that they can access this money from Google and wouldn't know how to go about setting up a PPC campaign for them.At Stellar Search, we are happy to help charities get this set up for them. We can help them apply for a Google Grant (as long as you are a registered charity) and then build out PPC campaigns for them to maximise the traffic to their websites.Whilst it is 'free money' in terms of a grant from Google, there are still some best practice tips in terms of how to maxamise this Graant and get more from Google in the future. The things we will do:1. Ensure campaigns are set up correctly, targeting the right networks and ensuring the bids are in place. There is a maximum $1 Max CPC for charities so Quality Score is super important to ensure that your charities ad is showing above other charities appearing in the auctions.2. Ensure relevant ad copy is put in place, along with maximizing ad extensions such as sitelinks, locations, call extensions, etc.3. Maximising your reach...if you hit your budget cap (initially $10k / month) for three months then Google will up your limit to $40k and then $100k after that. We can ensure that we have an extensive range of keywords to maximise your reach and message to enable charities to get additional funds. For more information on Google Grant Accounts for Charities, please visit: http://www.google.co.uk/grants/index.htmlIf you work for a charity, or know someone who does and would like our support, please do not hesitate to get in touch via our email address hello@stellarsearch.co.uk.We look forward to hearing from you!A tip from the Stellar Search Team.
